WELL-BEING IS A SKILL | Dr. Richard J. Davidson
Named one of the most influential people in the world by Time Magazine in 2006, neuroscientist Richard Davidson, Ph.D., is renowned for his groundbreaking study on emotions and how they affect wellbeing.
An author and internationally sought-after speaker, Dr. Davidson founded the Center for Investigating Healthy Minds at UW Madison’s Waisman Center with the goal of relieving suffering through a scientific understanding of the mind. In 2015 Davidson will contribute his insights and findings to the 2015 United Nations World Happiness Report.
At BRAVA's Thrive Connections luncheon on January 29th, he will share how using mental training to cultivate wellbeing can have a positive impact on happiness, creativity and productivity in the work place and at home.
